Solid glide wax

Solid glide wax is ironed into the base with a waxing iron and provides durable glide as well as protection against drying out and dirt. Here you will find solid waxes for training, base preparation and racing.

Hot waxing step by step

Melt or cray on a thin layer, move the waxing iron evenly over the ski, let the wax cool, and scrape off all excess wax. Then brush out the structure using the correct brush sequence.

Select hardness according to the snow

Cold and aggressive snow often requires a harder wax. Warm and moist snow requires a wax and structure that can manage more water. Universal wax is a good choice when conditions vary.

Build a stable base

• Use a softer base prep for saturating new or dry bases.
• Apply a hard base layer when durability is important.
• Finish with the day’s temperature-specific wax and any topping.
