Swix Pro PS5 Turquoise -10 / -18 180g

Swix Pro PS5 Turquoise -10 / -18 180g is a hard glide wax in the Swix Performance Speed series for ski trips, training, base preparation, and racing in the temperature range -10 / -18 °C.

Hard base for cold days: PS5 is a good choice when regular blue wax starts to feel too soft. It is hard, durable, and works equally well as a training wax and as a base layer under faster products. 180 grams is suitable if you wax often, have several pairs of skis, or want to avoid buying more in the middle of the season.

Suitable for

• Very cold conditions and dry snow.
• Fresh snow, transformed snow, and man-made snow.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 150 °C.
2. Melt the wax in evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
