Swix Marathon 40g

Swix Marathon 40g is a hard and durable glide wax for ski marathons and longer ski sessions, specially developed for newer and cleaner snow.

A ski marathon favorite: Marathon White is the wax we choose when the distance is long and the snow is relatively clean. Its broad range of use makes it especially interesting for long-distance races where the durability must last all the way.

Suitable for

• Ski marathons and longer training sessions.
• Newer and cleaner snow.
• Warm conditions, but also a wide range of use at lower temperatures.
• Cross-country skis and alpine skis.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 155 °C.
2. Melt the wax in evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after approximately 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
