Top coat for race glide

Topping is used as the final layer on top of a well-prepared glide wax base to fine-tune speed and water repellency. Here you will find fluorine-free topping in liquid, gel, spray, and powder form.

The base must be right

A topping cannot compensate for a dirty base, incorrect base structure, or poorly scraped wax. Start with a durable base and the day’s temperature-specific glide wax.

Follow the product method

• Some toppings should be corked in or polished while they are still damp.
• Others should dry completely and then be brushed or worked in with fleece or roto wool.
• Temperature, snow type, and humidity determine which product is suitable.
• Test the combination before important races.

Keep the tools clean

Use clean brushes, corks, and fleece tools. Older tools that have been used with fluorinated products should be cleaned before being used in a fluorine-free system.
