HS8 is a popular glide wax for both base waxing and training.
High Speed (HS) is specially developed for younger competitive skiers and ambitious recreational skiers. All waxes in the series have high performance and good durability. This makes them an affordable option for both competition and training. HS8 is easy to melt and very smooth to work with. It is equally suitable for training as for competition.
How to apply HS8: The application with a waxing iron on a skate or alpine ski should take about 8–10 seconds. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It is important to have a good waxing iron for the wax to melt effectively. Recommended temperature for the waxing iron: 150 °C.
