Swix Pro HS7 Violet -2 / -8 180g

Swix Pro HS7 Violet -2 / -8 180g is a hard glide wax in the Swix High Speed series for ambitious training and racing in the temperature range -2 / -8 °C.

Normal winter without any hassle: HS7 is the wax we often start with when the forecast calls for a typical Swedish winter. It sits in the middle of the system, is easy to work with, and performs well over more days than the name suggests. 180 grams is ideal if you wax often, have several pairs of skis, or want to avoid buying more in the middle of the season.

• Typical winter conditions below freezing.
• Fresh snow, old snow, and varying humidity.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 150 °C.
2. Melt the wax in evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush the base structure thoroughly.
