Product description
Vauhti Race LDR White is a hard base wax for waxing applications where durability is important. It is developed to improve the bonding between the ski base and the next glide wax layer.
LDR can also be used on its own as a glide wax in varying snow and weather conditions. It therefore does not always need to be covered with an additional layer.

Vauhti's racing method
Vauhti's recommendation for this wax format forms the basis for the steps below.
- Clean the glide surface with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
- Melt and spread the wax evenly over the entire glide surface with a waxing iron. Follow the product's current instructions for iron temperature and working speed.
- Scrape carefully while the wax is still warm.
- Let the ski cool completely and scrape again.
- Brush thoroughly with a brass brush, then a horsehair brush and finally a nylon brush.
- Use the finished LDR surface as it is, or apply the next glide wax layer according to the snow conditions and temperature.
