Swix Pro PS Polar -14 / -32 180g

Swix Pro PS Polar -14 / -32 180g is a hard glide wax in the Swix Performance Speed series for ski trips, training, base prep, and racing in the temperature range -14 / -32 °C.

The specialist for real cold: PS Polar is not an everyday wax, but when the thermometer approaches -20, this is exactly the kind of specialist product you are happy to have in your box. This hard wax withstands both severe cold and abrasive man-made snow. 180 grams is ideal if you wax often, have several pairs of skis, or want to avoid buying more in the middle of the season.

Suitable for

• Extreme cold and low humidity.
• Cold man-made snow and hard, abrasive surfaces.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 155 °C.
2. Melt in the wax evenly. One continuous pass over a skate ski or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
