Sidecut World Cup File Guide with Trigger Clamping System is a precision side-edge guide with a hand-polished stainless steel glide surface.
The number on the guide and the finished edge are not the same: A 92° guide gives an 88° side edge, i.e. 2° side bevel. The variant therefore shows both the finished edge and the guide angle.
How to use the product
- Choose the variant according to the desired actual side edge.
- Lock the file or stone in place with the Trigger Clamp.
- Position the ski on edge with the base facing away from you.
- Work from tip to tail with even strokes and the correct working direction.
- Use a file only when setting the angle or removing damage, then continue with diamond stones.

- 88° side edge / 92° guide - approx. 2° side bevel, a common all-round and race choice.

- 86° side edge / 94° guide - approx. 4° side bevel, very aggressive race edge.
- 85° side edge / 95° guide - approx. 5° side bevel, a specialist choice for very experienced skiers.
