The Sidecut Sidewall Kit converts a compatible Sidecut file guide into a sidewall tool with the selected carbide cutter.
A compact kit for those who already have the file guide: The kit saves space when traveling and allows the same guide body to be used for both edge angle work and removal of sidewall material.
How to use the product
- Mount the aluminum block and axle on a compatible Sidecut file guide.
- Install the selected carbide cutter and start with a shallow cutting depth.
- Let the guide follow the base and work from tip to tail.
- Check frequently that the plastic is being removed without damaging the steel edge or base.
- Disassemble and clean the parts after use.
