Product description
The Sidecut Diamond Stone has a 110 x 25 mm flat aluminum plate with a replaceable diamond surface for precise sharpening and polishing of steel edges.
The backing plate is longer than the diamond sheet itself: The title states 110 mm because that is the length of the aluminum plate. The replaceable diamond sheet is 100 mm long and leaves a grip area at the ends.
How to use the product
- Use the stone in an angle guide or file guide that holds the correct angle.
- Moisten with water or a suitable grinding fluid.
- Work from tip to tail with light pressure.
- Start with a coarser grit only when the edge has burrs or damage.
- Clean and dry the stone after use.
