Vauhti Top Race MoS2 Toppingblock 12 g

Vauhti Top Race MoS₂ 12 g is a topping block applied as the final layer for dirty or man-made snow. The block is worked in with felt and finished with nylon brushing.

In Vauhti’s waxing recommendations, the MoS₂ block is used over Race Blue liquid in cold old snow.

Suitable for

• Race waxing in dirty or man-made snow.
• As a top layer over a finished glide wax treatment.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.

Vauhti’s racing method

Vauhti shows the following application for the Top Race blocks. Merino wool on a roto tool is stated as an alternative technique.

1. Prepare the glide surface with a glide wax selected according to the day’s snow and temperature.
2. Rub the block onto the glide surface and work in the layer with a synthetic cork with felt.
3. Rub on the block once more and then work the surface with felt.
4. As an optional extra step, the surface can be treated with natural cork.
5. Finish with a nylon brush.
