Vauhti Race Red Liquid Glide Wax 60 ml +7 / -3

Vauhti Race Red liquid 60 ml is a fluorocarbon-free liquid glide wax for wet, old snow. It is applied without a waxing iron and brushed thoroughly after it has dried completely.

Red is the choice for the wet end of the Race range. The moisture content and age of the snow are more important for product selection than comparing temperature alone.

The Race liquids are manufactured by first homogenizing solid raw materials and then processing them with organic solvents. The series combines hydrocarbons, zinc stearate and silicon wax.

Suitable for

• For wet, old snow.
• Race waxing and demanding training without heating in the glide layer.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.

Vauhti's racing method

In its race prep guide, Vauhti recommends a thick layer and three brushing steps for the Race liquids.

1. Clean the glide surface with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
2. Shake the bottle. Press the applicator sponge lightly against the base so that the valve opens.
3. Apply back and forth over the entire glide surface and lay down a thick layer.
4. Let the wax dry completely.
5. Brush thoroughly with a brass brush, then a horsehair brush, and finally a nylon brush.
