Vauhti Race MoS2 Powder 35 g

Vauhti Race MoS₂ powder 35 g is a fluorocarbon-free glide wax for old, coarse-grained, and icy snow. The powder is ironed in with a waxing iron and is used for racing and demanding training.

MoS₂ is the Race powder for transformed, coarse, and icy snow. It provides a different range of use than C, which Vauhti specifies for dry, fine-grained snow.

The Race powders combine high-grade hydrocarbons, zinc stearate, and silicone wax for glide and durability.

Suitable for

• Old, coarse-grained, or icy snow.
• As a glide layer over a prepared base wax job.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

Vauhti's racing method

Vauhti's powder method includes both light scraping while the wax is warm and thorough finishing after cooling.

1. Clean the ski base with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
2. Distribute the powder evenly over the entire ski base.
3. Iron in the powder so that it melts completely. Follow the product's current instructions for iron temperature and working speed.
4. Scrape carefully while the wax is still warm.
5. Let the ski cool completely and scrape again.
6. Brush thoroughly with a brass brush, then a horsehair brush, and finally a nylon brush.
