Vauhti Pure Race Old Snow Silver 45 g is a grip wax for classic cross-country skiing on old and coarse-grained snow across a wide range of conditions.

Silver contains aluminum. Vauhti describes it as suitable both as a grip wax and as a base layer for Race Red, thanks to its consistency. In coarse snow, it can also be mixed with Race Blue klister.

How to use the product

1. Clean the kick zone and lightly roughen it when building a new wax application.
2. Choose a base wax according to snow type and how abrasive the track is. Let the base layer set before applying the grip wax.
3. Apply thin layers. Under a softer hardwax, Silver can be smoothed evenly with your thumb; over a cooled klister layer, Vauhti recommends leveling it with a synthetic cork.
4. Test ski and adjust with thin layers if needed.
