Vauhti Pure Race Old Snow Red Grip Wax 45 g +3 / -1

Vauhti Pure Race Old Snow Red 45 g is a grip wax for classic cross-country skiing in wet, coarse-grained old snow.

Red can also be used to cover klister. This makes it useful as a finishing hardwax when a klister base is needed for grip.

How to use the product

1. Clean the kick zone and lightly roughen it when building a new wax job.
2. Choose a base wax according to the snow type and how abrasive the track is. Let the base layer set before applying the grip wax.
3. Apply thin layers and smooth them out carefully. When covering klister, Vauhti indicates that Red should be smoothed with the thumb on top of the cooled klister.
4. Test ski and adjust with thin layers if needed.

When covering klister: let the underlying layer cool, then smooth out a layer of Red with your thumb, according to Vauhti's method.
