Swix V20 Green Grip Wax -8 / -15 is a green hardwax for cold winter conditions. It is used in the grip zone on waxable classic cross-country skis.
A classic for more than 50 years: V20 has accompanied skiers through many cold winters. It is the kind of tin you do not use every day, but are very glad to have when the cold really bites.
Suitable for
- Fresh snow and falling snow from -8 to -15 °C.
- Old or transformed snow from -10 to -18 °C.
- Cold, dry winter conditions.
How to use the hardwax
- Lightly roughen the grip zone with fine sandpaper if needed.
- Apply a thin layer of base binder when you need extra durability.
- Apply the hardwax in several thin layers in the grip zone.
- Cork each layer evenly before applying the next layer.
- Test ski and add a thin layer if the grip needs to be improved.
