Swix V Series

Swix V-series are classic fluorine-free hardwax tins for grip on waxable cross-country skis. The series covers a wide temperature range and is used by beginners, recreational skiers, and racers alike.

Choose by temperature and snow type

The V-series works primarily in new and fine-grained snow. Harder blue waxes are used in cold conditions, while softer violet and red options are used as the temperature rises.

Apply thin layers

• Clean and lightly roughen the kick zone.
• Use base binder when increased durability is needed.
• Apply several thin layers and cork out each layer.
• Adjust with a thinner warmer or colder layer after test skiing.

Classic Blue Extra

Blue Extra is a well-known all-round wax for cold winter conditions, but it should still be chosen according to the current snow type and the ski’s kick zone.
