Swix TSP6 Powder -6 / -12 40g

Swix TSP6 Powder -6 / -12 40g is a hard, fluorine-free racing powder in the Swix Top Speed Powder series for cross-country skis and alpine skis.

The cold-condition powder for natural and man-made snow: TSP6 is one of our most versatile cold-condition powder waxes when the snow can be either natural or man-made. It is a good choice when you want to build a durable race base.

Suitable for

• Cold natural or man-made snow.
• Cross-country skis and alpine skis.
• The temperature range in the store title is fixed: -6 / -12 °C.

How to use the product

1. Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the ski base.
2. You may lightly tap the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin to heat it in.
3. Heat in with a waxing iron at 180-200 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take about 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
4. Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
5. First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
6. Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
