Swix PF25 Powder Fine and Dry Snow -2 / -20 20g

Swix PF25 Powder Fine and Dry Snow -2 / -20 20g is a fluorine-free World Cup powder for race-oriented glide waxing of cross-country skis and alpine skis.

Choose the snow type first: PF25 is our choice when the snow is new and sharp, yet still dry. In the World Cup system, we start with the crystal shape, then the humidity, and finally the temperature.

Suitable for

• Fine-grained fresh snow with sharp crystals.
• Dry snow and low humidity, approximately 0-25%.
• Temperature range: -2 / -20 °C.

How to use the product

1. Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the base.
2. You may lightly stamp the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin ironing it in.
3. Iron in with a waxing iron at 160 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
4. Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
5. First scrape out the center groove and then the rest of the glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
6. Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
