Swix PF100 Powder Fine and Moist Snow +4 / -4 20g

Swix PF100 Powder Fine and Moist Snow +4 / -4 20g is a fluorine-free World Cup powder for race-oriented glide waxing of cross-country skis and alpine skis.

When the new snow starts to carry water: PF100 belongs in those tricky around-zero conditions when the snow is still fine and fresh but clearly moist. Here, the snow type is at least as important as the number on the thermometer.

Suitable for

• Fine-grained and fresh snow in wet conditions.
• High humidity, approximately 30-100%.
• Temperature range: +4 / -4 °C.

How to use the product

1. Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the base.
2. You may lightly stamp the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin ironing it in.
3. Iron in with a waxing iron at 130 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take about 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
4. Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
5. First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
6. Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
