Swix Marathon Powder White 25g is a hard, durable glide powder for ski marathons and longer race distances.
A ski marathon favorite for clean snow: Marathon White is the wax we choose when the distance is long and the snow is relatively clean. It is a natural base choice for ski marathons where durability must last all the way.
Suitable for
- Newer and clean snow.
- Ski marathons and longer race distances.
- Works best in warmer conditions but can also be competitive in colder temperatures.
How to use the product
- Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the ski base.
- You may lightly stamp the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin ironing it in.
- Iron in with a waxing iron at 155 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
- Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
- For extra durability, the wax can be ironed in a second time after cooling.
- First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
