Swix CH3X Cold Powder is a specialty powder for extreme cold and abrasive snow, primarily intended as an additive to another glide wax.
The older cold-powder classic: CH3X is an older specialist product based on the same principle as PS Polar Powder: mix the powder into another wax to increase durability in extreme cold.
Suitable for
- Extremely cold conditions and abrasive man-made snow.
- Used on its own or as an additive to another glide wax.
- Temperature range from -12 to -32 °C.
How to use the product
- Iron in the glide wax that matches the day’s temperature and snow type.
- Sprinkle CH3X over the base while the underlying wax is still warm and liquid.
- Iron the powder into the wax layer with a waxing iron at 150-155 °C.
- Let cool, scrape and brush as usual.
