Product description
Start RG Race Glider Base is a hard base wax used underneath the day’s glide wax.
Good race glide starts beneath the colored wax: Base is not intended as the final top layer, but as a stable foundation when several layers need to stay bonded together during training or racing.
How to use the product
- Set the waxing iron to about 110 °C, or follow the temperature on the packaging.
- Melt on enough wax for the iron to glide evenly without overheating the base.
- Iron in the wax with smooth movements from tip to tail.
- Let the ski cool before scraping off the wax with a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush out the structure first and finish with a fine nylon brush.
