Snowglide Rhombus CBN grinding stone 50 mm lets you choose the side edge finish according to the conditions and your skiing. The three grit options give Rhombus a wide range of use, from fine preparation for speed and aggressive snow to coarser edge work ahead of slalom on ice.
This is Snowglide's dedicated stone series for the Rhombus tuning machine, with a 50 mm outer diameter and a lightweight polymer body. CBN stands for cubic boron nitride, a very hard abrasive that is also used for industrial precision grinding of hardened steel.
Three grit options for different needs
- R46 - fine: For a fine side edge finish. Snowglide recommends it, among other things, for speed events as well as man-made snow and aggressive snow. R46 is included with the Rhombus from Skidvalla.se.
- R91 - standard: The broad all-round option in the Rhombus series. Snowglide highlights it for, among other things, giant slalom and varied use.
- R151 - coarse: For coarser machining and a coarser surface finish. Recommended by Snowglide for slalom on ice, indoor skiing, and pre-processing.
Which stone should you add?
Start from what you want to change compared with the included R46. If you want a standard option for broader use, R91 is a natural next choice. If you need to be able to do coarser edge work, R151 is the complement.
Compare within the correct stone series
Lower numbers give a finer finish within the Rhombus series. The same number, however, gives a finer finish on Rhombus than on Snowglide's other machines. That is why R46 is described as fine and R91 as standard. Choose according to the Rhombus guide above when adding to your machine.
