Product description
Snowglide Rhombus brings Snowglide’s electric edge tuning into your own vallaboden. For the ambitious skier, the racing family and the club skier, it is a well-considered choice when the finish of the side edges should receive the same care as the rest of the equipment. You get a machine with gravity-controlled grinding pressure and its own series of CBN stones.
Rhombus has a housing made from shaped and machined Delrin and is supported directly on the ski. The grinding pressure is created by gravity, without a spring. This is one of the model’s most important features: the design helps the stone work with even pressure while you guide the machine along the edge.
Snowglide for your own vallaboden
Rhombus is supplied with a fine CBN 46 stone. Start by getting to know it, then add to it based on which skis and snow conditions you are tuning for. With three grit options, it is easy to compare the alternatives and build up a stone selection that suits your skiing.

Dedicated stone series with 50 mm diameter
Rhombus uses Rhombus CBN grinding stones 50 mm. CBN stands for cubic boron nitride. Choose the correct stone family when adding to the machine: the AF series 70 mm stones fit other models.
- 46 - fine: the stone included when purchasing from Skidvalla.se.
- 91 - standard: an option for broader all-round work.
- 151 - coarse: for coarser material removal.
According to Snowglide, the same grit number gives a finer finish in Rhombus than in the brand’s other machines. Therefore, use the Rhombus series’ own classification when choosing a stone.

Rhombus is intended for the side of the steel edge. The base edge is prepared separately. Snowglide also offers service and repair of the model. To check the side edge angle, you can add the Snowglide AM-L angle gauge.
