Swix KX55 Violet Extra Klister +4 / -6 is a violet racing klister with a wide temperature range. It is used in the grip zone on classic cross-country skis.
The World Championship klister from Trondheim: KX55 quickly became a favorite among top-level wax technicians because it handles colder and finer-grained snow better than K22. This makes the product unusually versatile for a universal klister.
Suitable for
- Variable snow conditions from light frost to wet snow.
- Finer-grained and colder snow where K22 Universal becomes too soft.
- Race-oriented classic cross-country skiing across a wide temperature range.
How to use the klister
- Roughen and clean the grip zone before you start.
- Apply a thin layer of base klister in hard or abrasive conditions.
- Warm the tube in your hand and apply thin lines on both sides of the center groove.
- Spread the klister into a thin, even, continuous layer.
- Let the ski cool before starting.
