Swix KX40S Silver Klister +2 / -4 is a purple/silver klister for fine-grained and transformed snow around the freezing point. It is used in the grip zone on classic cross-country skis.
A problem-solver around zero: KX40S is particularly interesting when you want to reduce the risk of icing in fine-grained or slightly moist snow.
Suitable for
- Transformed and fine-grained snow.
- Slightly wet, fine-grained snow when the temperature is above 0 °C.
- Drier grip zones where you want to reduce the risk of icing.
How to use the klister
- Roughen and clean the grip zone before you start.
- Use a thin layer of base klister in hard or abrasive conditions.
- Warm the tube in your hand and apply thin lines on both sides of the center groove.
- Spread the klister into a thin, continuous layer.
- Let the ski cool before starting.
