Product description
Carrot Finishing #46 is a specialist stone for racing on dirty, abrasive snow. It is designed for conditions where sand and small stones quickly wear down the steel edge's sharpness.
The stone leaves a fine micro-serration on the edge, tailored to these conditions. The purple stone is made from a synthetic blend with extra hardener.
Choose #46 as a specialist finish to suit the snow you will ski on. To establish a new side-edge angle, use Carrot #80.
How to work with Finishing #46
The stone fits the Carrot M31 edge sharpener.
Change the stone with the machine disconnected and set its position according to the manual. Work along the edge with light pressure and even movement. Check the result between passes and keep the machine's contact surfaces free from grinding dust.

- #80 - for recreational skiing and children's training, and for establishing the edge angle (black).
- #120 - training for children, teenagers and adults (red).
- #240 - slalom and giant slalom racing (yellow).
- #320 - super-G racing (blue).
- #500 - downhill racing (green).
- Finishing #46 - racing on dirty, abrasive snow containing sand or gravel (purple).
- Ceramic #240 - race preparation on very hard snow, for example at Europa Cup level.
- Diamond #500 - final finishing on pure ice and injected courses, up to World Cup level.
