Product description
Carrot's ceramic grinding stone is designed for training and race skis on icy snow and hard, injected courses. The aim is clear grip through the turn and a controlled release when it is time to change edges.
The grit size is comparable to the synthetic #240 stone. The ceramic construction produces a more aggressive edge finish and a longer service life than synthetic stones.
An option for racers who need more bite on very hard snow. The stone is developed for advanced preparation, from FIS races to World Cup level.
How to work with the ceramic stone
Use it with the Carrot M31 to refine an edge that already has the correct angle and basic sharpness.
Change the stone with the machine disconnected and set its position according to the manual. Work along the edge with light pressure and even movement. Check the result between passes and keep the machine's contact surfaces free from grinding dust.
