Vauhti Pure Race New Snow Green Grip Wax 45 g -5 / -20

Vauhti Pure Race New Snow Green 45 g is a grip wax for classic cross-country skiing in cold natural snow.

Green is the tin wax for cold conditions in the new snow range. In Vauhti’s racing recommendations, it is used, among other things, as the final layer over Race Blue grip wax in severe cold.

How to use the product

1. Clean the grip zone and lightly roughen it when building a new wax application.
2. Choose a base wax according to snow type and how abrasive the track is. Let the base layer set before applying the grip wax.
3. Apply the grip wax in thin layers and smooth between layers with a synthetic cork. Adjust the number of layers to suit the ski and conditions.
4. Test ski and adjust with thin layers if needed.

Vauhti’s example for very cold new snow is based on GS Base AT, Race Blue, and a finishing layer of Green. Test ski to assess grip and glide in the current track.
