Product description
Swix World Cup True Bar is a flatness gauge for alpine skis. It is used to check the flatness of the base and steel edges before you start working on the edges.
A flat ski provides the right conditions for precise edge tuning. With the True Bar, you can assess the condition of the base and edges and detect uneven areas that need to be addressed before filing.
Features
- Checks the flatness of the base and steel edges.
- Provides a basis for further edge tuning.
- Precision measuring surface for inspection before grinding.
- Developed for alpine skis.
- Made in Italy.
How to use the tool
Clean the base and the measuring surface. Place the bar across the base and check the contact with the base and steel edges at several points along the ski.
Tips
Start by checking flatness before working on the edge angles. Unevenness in the base affects the conditions for precise tuning.
