Swix VP55 Racing Pro Violet +1 / -2 is a dark violet racing-oriented hard grip wax in the Swix VP series. It is used in the grip zone on waxable classic cross-country skis.
Skidvalla.se recommends: In zero-degree conditions, the temperature does not tell the whole story. VP55 becomes particularly interesting when the humidity rises and the snow becomes difficult to wax for.
Suitable for
- Moist new or fine-grained snow from +1 to -2 °C.
- Old or transformed snow from 0 to -5 °C.
- Demanding zero-degree conditions with rising humidity.
How to use the hard grip wax
- Lightly roughen the grip zone with fine sandpaper if needed.
- Apply a thin layer of base binder when you need extra durability.
- Apply the hard grip wax in several thin layers in the grip zone.
- Cork each layer evenly before applying the next layer.
- Test ski and add a thin layer if the grip needs to be improved.
