Swix PC35 Powder Coarse and Medium-Dry Snow +2 / -10 20g is a fluorine-free World Cup powder for race-focused glide waxing of cross-country skis and alpine skis.
The workhorse in transformed snow: PC35 is an unusually versatile mid-range product for old and transformed snow. It covers many common racing conditions where the snow is coarse but not truly wet.
Suitable for
- Coarse-grained, old, transformed, or man-made snow.
- Medium-dry snow and humidity around 20-35%.
- Temperature range: +2 / -10 °C.
How to use the product
- Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the ski base.
- You may lightly tamp the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin ironing it in.
- Iron in with a waxing iron at 160 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
- Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
- First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the glide surface using a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
