Start Base Wax Standard is a base wax that improves durability under regular hard kick wax.
The thin layer that makes the rest stick: Base wax should almost disappear into the kick zone. A layer that is too thick gives poorer control, while a thin ironed-in base can save the whole day’s grip.
How to use the product
- Lightly roughen the kick zone lengthwise along the ski and wipe away the sanding dust.
- Apply a thin layer of base wax.
- Carefully iron it in with a waxing iron and smooth with cork.
- Let it cool before applying the day’s hard kick wax in thin layers.
