Snowglide AF-W World Cup is the flagship among our electric side edge grinders from Snowglide. For those who see edge preparation as part of performance, it gives you control over side edge angle, grinding pressure and RPM. A precision tool for the service technician, racer and ski tuner who wants to fine-tune their work at the highest level.

AF-W is developed for the precision that defines alpine race service. The separate adjustments let you adapt the machine to your way of working and the edge finish you are looking for. Together with the right CBN stone, you get a system with extensive scope for your own fine-tuning.

Control over the entire grinding process

• Stepless angle adjustment 86-90°: also choose angles between fixed half degrees.
• Adjustable spring pressure: the preload regulates the stone's pressure against the side edge.
• Variable RPM: the brushless 24 V motor is controlled with a dial on the machine.
• Four bearings against the base: the machine is supported on the ski and runs smoothly along the edge.
• Magnetic cover: provides easy access for stone changes and cleaning.

Build a system for your ski tuning

The included CBN 46 stone is an all-round stone. AF-W uses Snowglide AF stones with 70 mm diameter, so you can add other grits when your tuning requires it. CBN stands for cubic boron nitride. The stones work on the side of the steel edge; the base edge is prepared separately.
