Swix Ski File 20 cm Bastard Coarse is a long hard-chromed file for setting a new side edge angle and repairing heavily damaged edges.
Directionally stable when a lot needs to be removed: The long file sits steadily in fixed guides and makes it easier to maintain an even motion when the angle is being established from the start.
How to use the product
- Attach the file in the correct angle guide with a file clamp.
- Work with short, overlapping strokes from tip to tail.
- It can be helpful to mark the edge with a felt-tip pen to see where the file is cutting.
- Switch to a medium file as soon as the angle is set.
