Swix Base-Edge File Holder WC is a fixed World Cup file guide in aluminum for precision tuning of the base edge.
Fixed angle provides maximum repeatability: Choose 0.5°, 0.75°, 1.0° or 2.0° depending on ski type and skier. A fixed guide is less flexible than an adjustable one, but very easy to repeat exactly.
How to use the product
- Select the correct angle before starting the work.
- Clamp the ski securely with the base facing up.
- Attach a suitable file or diamond stone using a file clamp.
- Work with light, overlapping strokes from tip to tail.
- Use the file sparingly and maintain the angle with a fine diamond stone.
