Swix VG30 Base Binder Blue +1 / -20 is a blue base binder for the grip zone. It is applied as a thin base layer so that the day’s hardwax will stay on longer.

- Base layer under hardwax in new, fine-grained, and old or transformed snow.

How to apply the base binder
- Lightly roughen the grip zone with fine sandpaper.
- Preferably cool the tin before application so the wax is easier to spread.
- Apply a thin and even layer in the grip zone.
- Carefully heat in the base binder with a waxing iron.
- Cork the surface smooth and let the ski cool before applying the day’s hardwax.
