Snowglide PushOff sidewall tool removes material next to the steel edge prior to edge tuning. The tool is used with a pushing motion and can be adjusted both laterally and for cutting depth.
When sidewall material is in the way, it needs to be cleared so the sharpening tool can reach the steel edge. PushOff is intended for plastic and zicral according to Snowglide's price list.
