Sidecut Trigger Clamping System is a spring-loaded one-handed clamp that locks files and stones onto Sidecut file guides.
The clamp keeps the tool flat against the guide: When the file can lift off the support, a wavy edge can easily result. The Trigger system provides even clamping force and can be mounted for right- or left-handed use.
How to use the product
- Mount the Trigger Clamp on a compatible Sidecut guide.
- Place the file, stone, or sharpening stone flat against the guide.
- Press the trigger and check that the tool cannot slide or lift.
- Work with light, even pressure.
- Release the clamp with one hand when the tool needs to be changed.
