Red Creek Riller - straight 2 mm imprints clearly defined longitudinal channels for wet snow, glazed tracks, and near-zero moisture.
When 1 mm does not move enough water: Straight 2 mm is Red Creek's standard step up for wet conditions and an important complement to warm chevron and diagonal-cut patterns.
How to use the product
- Wax, scrape, and brush the ski completely before applying the hand structure.
- Position the tool in the direction of the arrow and pull it from tip to tail with even pressure.
- Use firmer pressure in wet snow. Be cautious when the temperature drops below zero.
- Do not rill the waxable grip zone on classic skis.
- Finish with a fine nylon brush and preferably compare against an unrilled ski.

- Discipline: Cross-country.
- Structure: straight 2 mm.
- Recommended temperature or conditions range: wet.
- Snow conditions: wet snow, glazed tracks, and near-zero moisture.
- Main function: distinct linear drainage for more water.
- Combination: Combine with chevron +15/-5 or a coarse warm structure, sometimes also with straight 1 mm. Just below zero, it can be applied from the middle and backward.
- Rolling hand structure that is imprinted after the finished waxing.
- The structure is reduced or disappears at the next hot waxing.
- Stainless steel roller that should be kept clean, dry, and protected from impacts.
