Swix BP99 Base Prep Saturation Warm 180g is a fluorine-free base prep wax for saturation, protection and base preparation of ski and snowboard bases.
First layer on a new base: BP99 is the soft saturation wax we start with on a new or freshly stone-ground base. The low melting point makes it easier to work gently and get plenty of wax into the base.
Suitable for
- The first layer on new or freshly stone-ground skis and snowboards.
- Base saturation and use in a hot box.
- Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.
How to use the product
- Clean the base and iron in an even layer with a waxing iron.
- When using a hot box, the temperature must not exceed 55 °C.
- Let the wax cool before scraping the center groove, edges and glide surface.
- Brush out the base structure with a suitable metal brush and finish with nylon.
