Start RG Race Glider Graphite is a fluorine-free graphite wax that is mixed with the day’s glide wax in cold fresh snow and other conditions with high static friction.
When the skis start to squeak: Graphite is most beneficial in cold fresh snow - the classic squeaky snow - where a normal temperature-specific wax can feel electric and sluggish.
How to use the product
- Choose a temperature-specific RG Race wax.
- Mix the graphite wax with the day’s wax, preferably around 50/50 as a first test.
- Iron in the mixture at approximately 140 °C.
- Let it cool, scrape, and brush thoroughly.
- Increase the graphite content only when the cold fresh snow really requires it.
