Vauhti UP Polar Glide Wax 540 g -5 / -25

Vauhti UP Polar 540 g is a fluorocarbon-free hard glide wax for cold conditions. The UP series is developed for active skiers and for the training sessions of racing skiers.

UP Polar also plays an important role as a base layer under racing waxes. Vauhti recommends the liquid form as a base in warm and wet conditions and the hard form in cold and dry conditions.

The stated glide range of -5 to -25 °C applies to use as a glide wax. As a base layer in a combined racing wax setup, UP Polar has a wider range of use.

Suitable for

• Glide waxing in cold conditions within the product’s temperature range.
• As a base under racing waxes, especially in cold and dry conditions with this hard form.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.

How to use the product

1. Clean the ski base with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
2. Melt on an even layer with a waxing iron according to the temperature on the packaging.
3. Move the iron over the ski base without stopping on the base.
4. Let the ski cool completely, scrape and brush thoroughly.

When used as a base: finish the layer before applying the next glide wax. Choose the top layer wax according to the current snow conditions.
