Vauhti Race LDR Black Base Wax 180 g is a base wax that creates an even, durable bond between the ski base and the next glide wax layer.
Good glide starts underneath the topcoat wax: a well-prepared base helps today’s wax adhere more evenly and last longer.
Suitable for
- New, freshly ground or dry bases that need a stable foundation.
- As a base under solid or liquid glide wax.
- Regular maintenance when durability is more important than a quick one-time layer.
How to use the product
- Clean and brush the base.
- Melt on a thin, even layer using the correct iron temperature according to the packaging.
- Allow the ski to cool completely.
- Scrape and brush out the structure before applying the day’s glide wax.
