Swix Pro PS6 Blue -6 / -12 60g

Swix Pro PS6 Blue -6 / -12 60g is a hard glide wax in the Swix Performance Speed series for ski trips, training, base preparation and racing in the temperature range -6 / -12 °C.

Swix blue standard choice: PS6 is one of the most versatile waxes in the entire PS series. Swix Racing lists PS6 Blue as its most used glide wax, which says a lot about how often this temperature range occurs. The 60-gram block is a convenient size for your own waxing kit and lasts a long time for most recreational skiers.

Suitable for

• Cold, normal winter conditions.
• Natural and man-made snow.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 145 °C.
2. Melt in the wax evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
