Swix Pro HS5 Turquoise -10 / -18 60g

Swix Pro HS5 Turquoise -10 / -18 60g is a hard glide wax in the Swix High Speed series for ambitious training and racing in the temperature range -10 / -18 °C.

A cold-condition favorite: HS5 is the hardest wax in the HS series and one of the better cold-condition waxes when you want to combine durability with a wax that is still workable without unnecessary drama. The 60-gram block is a handy format for your own waxing box and lasts a long time for most recreational skiers.

Suitable for

• Very cold conditions and dry snow.
• Fresh snow, transformed snow, and man-made snow.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 160 °C.
2. Melt in the wax evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
