The marathon powder is a powder version of the well-known glide wax Marathon DHBFF. It is much easier to apply the powder than hard marathon wax, as the powder melts more easily and is easier to scrape. The product's abrasion resistance is the same. The grain size of the powder has undergone rigorous testing to achieve the best possible application results and performance. DHP Black is specially developed for wet conditions and dirty snow. The black additive helps to reduce friction and decreases the amount of debris that sticks to the base. In addition to being excellent in wet conditions, the powder is also highly competitive in colder weather.
Apply a moderate layer of powder on the base and then run the waxing iron twice to ensure all the powder melts. The temperature of the waxing iron should be 160 degrees, and the speed of the waxing iron should be about 5-7 seconds over the entire length of the ski. Scrape after the product has cooled with a plexi scraper and then brush with a steel or bronze brush, and finally polish with a blue nylon brush.
