The marathon powder is a powder version of the well-known glide wax Marathon DHBFF. The black additive helps to reduce friction and decreases the amount of debris that sticks to the base. In addition to being excellent in wet conditions, the powder is also highly competitive in colder weather.

Apply a moderate layer of powder on the base and then run the waxing iron twice to ensure all the powder melts. The temperature of the waxing iron should be 160 degrees, and the speed of the waxing iron should be about 5-7 seconds over the entire length of the ski.
