Carrot Base Blue 180g -14 / -25 is the hardest wax in Carrot’s Base series for very cold, dry, and abrasive snow.
For the sharpest crystals of winter: When the snow is extremely cold, both the crystals and the wax become hard. Base Blue protects the base and provides a durable foundation without a softer wax causing drag in the cold.
How to use the product
- Clean and brush the glide surface before waxing.
- Melt on an even layer and follow the iron temperature stated on the packaging.
- Iron in the wax with smooth passes from tip to tail without overheating the base.
- Let the ski cool, scrape off the excess, and brush the structure clean.
- Finish with a fine nylon brush and wipe away the wax dust.
